The VFS 108 Horizontal Magnetic Float Sensor is a precision-engineered side-mounted liquid level sensor developed for applications where vertical installation is not feasible. Its compact horizontal design allows installation through the side wall of tanks, making it ideal for water storage systems, industrial process vessels, chemical tanks, and automation equipment. The sensor uses a magnetic reed switch mechanism to provide accurate ON/OFF liquid level detection while maintaining dependable long-term performance.

Manufactured with a glass-filled nylon housing, the VFS 108 offers excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and demanding industrial environments. The lightweight PP foam float moves freely with changing liquid levels to ensure consistent and repeatable switching action. Its internal reed switch is fully sealed using PU/Epoxy potting, protecting the electronics against moisture, vibration, and contaminants while delivering an operational life of approximately 500,000 switching cycles.
