The VFS 105 Vertical Dual Magnetic Float Sensor is a high-performance liquid level sensing solution designed for applications requiring dual-level detection within a single compact sensor. Featuring two independent reed switches, the VFS 105 allows users to monitor both upper and lower liquid levels simultaneously, making it ideal for automatic pump control, overflow prevention, dry-run protection, and tank level monitoring. Its vertical mounting configuration ensures simple installation while delivering accurate and repeatable switching performance.
Manufactured using a durable polypropylene (PP) housing and a lightweight PP foam float, the sensor offers excellent resistance to water, corrosion, and many industrial chemicals. It is supplied with a 2-meter PVC cable as standard, while a Teflon cable option is available for applications involving elevated temperatures or chemically aggressive environments. With a maximum switching voltage of 100 VDC, a 10-watt contact rating, and a 0.5 Amp DC switching current, the VFS 105 integrates seamlessly with PLCs, relays, control panels, and automation systems.
The internal reed switches are completely sealed using PU/Epoxy potting, protecting the sensor against moisture ingress and ensuring reliable performance over an operational life of approximately 500,000 switching cycles.
